PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of protecting electric components by breaking the circuit quickly and purely when a vehicle failure signal is fed. SOLUTION: In normal condition, a first bus bar 11 and a second bus bar 14 are connected together through a pair of multi-contact springs 21a and 21b and a heating agent case 22, and electric power is supplied from battery to the load. When a firing part 24 is fired with a failure signal given externally, a heating agent 23 put fully in the case 22 runs temperature, and the heat melts engagement pawls 33a and 33b made of a resin member formed in a resin case 17 to cause a compression spring 26 to elongate and the heating agent case 22 to be heaved while it slides on the two multi-contact springs 21a and 21b, so that the case 22 is disconnected electrically from the first bus bar 11 and second bus bar 14. |
