PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain contents on the server computer interconnected to a radio portable terminal through a mobile communication network in the form of contents corresponding to the communication band of the radio portable terminal moving in mobile environment. SOLUTION: Information on the bandwidth that the radio portable terminal 10 transmits moving in a mobile communication network 2 and the number of usable channels is received and registered in a distribution management table 152 by radio portable terminals 10. Then best-effort bandwidth is calculated from the communication bandwidth and the number of usable channels and contents read out by selecting the best contents file out of plural contents files containing the same contents in the same address by the respective communication bands of at least wide bandwidth and narrow bandwidth are transmitted to the radio portable terminal 10.
