PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely brake a conveyance truck by a linear motor, when electric power supply is interrupted. SOLUTION: Switches S1-S3 are provided between a linear motor 4 installed on the ground and a drive unit 6. All the switches S1-S3 are grounded, when control signals are cut off. The power supply of the control signals is cut off after a delay from the interruption of a primary power supply. If the power supply of the control signals is cut off when the primary power supply is interrupted, the respective coils of the linear motor are short-circuited by the switches and currents are induced by the movement of a conveyance truck to brake the truck.
