PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a flexible and pliant vegetable sheet capable of preparing an edible shaped article such as a crane or a ship by folding in the same manner as that of a Japanese paper, having the flexibility and distinctly forming folds. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of an alcohol comprising 30-70% dilution ratio is applied or scattered on a vegetable sheet. The resultant vegetable sheet onto which the aqueous solution is applied or scattered is placed in a hermetically sealable container or bag and frozen. The frozen vegetable sheet is then thawed to produce a flexible vegetable sheet. |
