PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device wherein when a plate cylinder is exchanged and a rotational driving system for the plate cylinder constituting a part of a sheet fed printing machine or a driving system through the printing machine is removably switched, reproduction accuracy becomes high. SOLUTION: In a sheet printing machine wherein a plurality of printing units wherein rotating bodies such as a plate cylinder 1, a blanket cylinder 2 and an impression cylinder 3 are connected with each other for driving through gears fixed on each shaft end are connected in the sheet forwarding direction through a gear fixed on the shaft end of an intermediate cylinder 17 being a rotating body, an impression throw-on/off switching device 26 which makes connection for driving removable by rockably moving either of the above described rotating bodies in the diameter direction is provided to constitute a driving device for this sheet printing machine and by rocking and moving the impression throw-on/off switching device 26 in the diameter direction of the rotating body and performing impression throw-on/off of the driving system, breaking and reproductive returning of the driving system can be property and pref. performed. |
