PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have sufficient strength to a thermal stress under a high temperature environment in the vicinity of a weld spot and to easily remove stuck spatters by incorporating at least a specified quantity of nickel into a work holding part which holds works and brings them into close contact each other. SOLUTION: This work holding part is composed of a metal including at least 15 atom % nickel or more. Since nickel and nickel alloy are provided with high temperature strength and their surface states are extremely stable even at high temperatures, spatters are easily removed. An air blow nozzle 13 is fixed to a laser beam emitting part 11 via a block 12. A roller shaped work holding part 15 is attached to the tip of the air blow nozzle 13 via a rotational mechanism 14. When welding is performed, two mutually superposed works are held and fixed by the work holding part 15 which is rotated in accordance with the movement of the weld spot, and close contact extremely close to the weld spot is secured so that the works are not separated from each other.
|
