PURPOSE:To provide the independent power unit equipped with the load fluctuation countermeasure circuit which prevents any load from being generated during a normal operation and therefore does not exert any adverse influence upon the total efficiency of the independent power unit. CONSTITUTION:This independent power unit for converting the output power of a fuel battery 1, for which load followup ability is low, to constant voltage controlled AC power by using a voltage type self-exciting inverter 2 and supplying it to a load is provided with a battery 4 for compensating the delay of the load followup ability of the fuel battery, inverse parallel circuit composed of a diode 12 for discharge to control the charging current or the discharging current and a step-down chopper 13 for charging, and load fluctuation countermeasure circuit 11 composed of a control system 14 parallelly to the fuel battery 1. |
