The radiator for a motor vehicle has a matrix (10) of flexible plastics tubes fitted into end tubes forming the manifolds (22, 24). The manifolds are connected to cross pipes (38) which partially enclose the matrix and retain it in a chosen shape. Spacers (50) can be fixed between the traverses.
