The invention relates to a device for guiding a handrail, notably on the return strand, of an escalator or moving pavement. Said device comprises several guide elements which are situated at a distance from each other, can be introduced into the open area of the handrail and positioned in same. Each guide element comprises at least one support part which is directly or indirectly joined to components of the escalator of moving pavement and in each end region is provided with at least one rotating body which is mobile in relation to the support part. |
