PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print system, which performs the print processing using specific font data even in the case that a printer on which this specific font data is mounted cannot be used to print data and a control method therefor and a storage medium. SOLUTION: If available printers other than a printer where trouble has occurred exist (step S2→S3), it is discriminated whether a printer on which the same font as the printer where trouble has occurred is mounted exists in these printers or not. If a printer on which the same font is mounted exists, font of this printer is used to print data (step S3→S4→S5); otherwise, screen font of a host computer is transferred as image data, and it is informed of a server computer that print will be executed, and the printer for print is selected, and thereafter, data is printed by this printer in accordance with image data (step S3→S6→S7→S8).
