PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive motor-operated actuator having a simple constitution for regulating valve. SOLUTION: A motor-operated actuator for regulating valve is provided with a detecting section 14, which detects the physical quantity related to a fluid flowing through a regulating valve, switches 12 and 19, and a comparator 16 which compares the detected value of the detecting section 14 with a set value. The actuator is also provided with a drive means 21 which turns on the switch 12, when the detected value of the detecting section 14 is smaller or larger than a preset value and another drive means 25, which turns on the switch 19 when the set value is equal to or larger or smaller than the detected value of the section 14.
