PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print certain printing data on the surface of a sheetlike printing medium while printing other printing data regardless of this printing data, for example, advertisement data on the rear surface when the centain printing data is to be printed on the sheetlike printing medium by a printing apparatus. SOLUTION: When printing data arrives from the outside, the data is read (S302, S303) and it is judged whether usual printing is designated by a control code contained in the data (S304). In the case of no usual printing, rear surface printing data such as advertisement data to be printed on the rear surface of paper is obtained from a server to be imaged (S306) and then printed on the rear surface of the paper (S307). Thereafter, the paper is turned upside down (S308) and printing data arriving at first is image as surface printing data (S309) and printing is applied on the surface of the paper (S310) to discharge the printed paper (S311). Until non-outputted surface printing data are out, steps S304-S311 are repeated. |
