PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wrong number of points of a point card by adding the points only when the race equivalent to a received betting ticket is not over yet according to the progress of the race that is received from a host computer. SOLUTION: A customer puts a point card 6 into a card handling part 2 and then puts a purchased betting ticket into a betting ticket handling part 3. Then the customer performs the communication with a host computer 5 by means of the customer number and other information recorded at a recording part 61 of the card 6 and also the betting information recorded at a recording part of the betting ticket to obtain in real time the progress of the race recorded on the betting ticket as well as the customer information. Thus, it is decided whether the race recorded on the betting ticket is over and the points are added if the race is not over yet.
