<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and correctly input merchandise information of merchandise which is stored in a merchandise storing shelf. SOLUTION: In the merchandise storing shelf of this management system having a plurality of drawers 45A-45D, opening/closing sensors 55A-55D for detecting the opening/closing of the respective drawers, a merchandise information file capable of storing information by correlating each opening/closing sensor and information of merchandise stored in each shelf, a merchandise information extracting means for extracting merchandise information corresponding to the opening/closing sensors by referring to the merchandise information file when the opening/closing sensors defect the opening of the drawers and a merchandise information automatic input means for automatically inputting extracted merchandise information for registering the merchandise are arranged. The device is constructed so as to automatically input merchandise information only by opening the drawer and taking-out the merchandise.</p> |
