PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor drive generating no impact or vibration at reversing of a DC motor, and a motor-driven power steering controller capable of generating no impact, such as thump at steering of a steering wheel. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a current command value computing means 10, a DC motor drive means 20, an H-bridge circuit 30, and a current detecting means 40. The compensating-section reset computing means 24 of the DC motor drive means 20 resets a compensating section integrated by a PI control computing means 25 to zero at the time of reversing a power assist motor (DC motor) 3 by steering a steering wheel, so that a duty ratio Dt set by a duty ratio computing means 26 become zero once, and the power assist motor 3 generates no impact or vibration at reversing. It is thus possible to prevent impacts such as a clunk from being transferred to the steering wheel at steering of the steering wheel. |
