PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processor with historicizing function of operating purpose which can prevent information from being buried by historicizing the operating purposes of data files and decoding the history in the future. SOLUTION: An information processor having a storage device is provided with a file managing means which manages data files, an operating purpose inputting means 21 which inputs the operating purposes of the data files, and an operating purpose history managing section which is arranged at every data file and stores operating purposes. The processor is also provided with operating purpose history managing means 22, 23, and 24 which store operating purposes inputted from the inputting means 21 in the operating purpose history managing section by actuating the means 21 and an operating purpose history displaying means 25 which reads the operating purpose of a data file from the operating purpose history managing section and displays the purpose on a display device.
