PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device suitable for a reduction in size and cost by eliminating the need for an intricate inverter circuit. SOLUTION: A DC power source device 3 supplies DC current to plural white light emitting diodes 2 via current regulating resistance circuits 4. The plural current regulating resistance circuits 4 are connected between the DC power source device 3 and the respective white light emitting diodes 2 and regulate and current to be supplied to the white light diodes 2. A reflection mirror 5 reflects the rays from the white light emitting diodes 2. A diffusion lens 6 diffuses the rays reflected by the reflection mirror 5 and irradiates a liquid crystal display device 1 with the rays. |
