<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operability by detecting the reproduction frequency of image data and holding the image with a high retrieval frequency in a small capacity of image recording device. SOLUTION: When an operator inputs an endoscope image including patient information in endoscope systems 2a-2c in the case of an endoscope inspection, it is transmitted to image recording and reproducing devices 3a-3c. The devices 3a-3c transmit the endoscope image from a network 7 to a server 4, record it and copy it to the optical disk device of an image recording device 5 as back-up information. The image recorded in the server 4 is erased by various kinds of setting conditions concerning the image in order not to permit a recording capacity to be an upper limit unless the image is not retrieved for a prescribed period. When a user reproduces the endoscope image, he retrieves patient ID from an image reproducing device 6. Then the server 4 reads only the image which satisfies the set condition for inhibiting the erasion of the image in the comparatively new inspection or with the high retrieval frequency.</p> |
