<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exactly measure the moisture content of a garbage treating material without contact with the garbage treating material. SOLUTION: This treating device has a moisture content detecting section 1 which optically detects the moisture content of the garbage treating material 11, a control section which computes the moisture content in accordance with the output of this moisture content detecting section 1 and agitating vanes 2, a surface heater 4 and an exhaust fan 5 for regulating the moisture content according to the output of the control section in a treating vessel 3 in which the garbage treating material 11 for decomposing and treating the garbage is put.</p> |
