<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an outer appearance and surely discharge a liquid, in a container whose body for holding a liquid therein has the form of a cylinder having a size holdable with hand and is provided with a recess round which finger tips can be hooked, by disposing the recess in the shape of a band extending the axial full length of the body. SOLUTION: A body 4 is used for holding a liquid W therein, and has the form of a cylinder having a size holdable with hand. In the case, in the body 4, a band-shaped recess 6 is disposed across a part of shoulder 3 near the body 4 which part extends the axial full length of the body. The recess 6 is formed so that its cross-section has the shape of an arc and its depth does not reach as far as the inside diameters of a mouth 1 and neck 2 so as not to decrease the capacity for the liquid W. Therefore, a uniform decorative effect can be imparted to the shoulder 3 and body 4 by the recess 6, and the outer appearance of the whole can be improved. To discharge the liquid W, the body 4 is grasped hooking finger tips round the recess 6, thereby guiding the liquid W along the recess 6 and surely discharging it without causing it to stay.</p> |
