<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition stably pelletizable and useful for producing favorably recyclable molded products by including specific carbonized polyacrylonitrile fiber piles and/or specific viscose rayon fiber piles. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including carbonized polyacrylonitrile fiber piles >=10 wt.% in nitrogen content and/or viscose rayon fiber piles pigmented with a pigment; wherein each of the fiber piles is pref. 1-15 denier in fineness and 0.1-2 mm in length. More precisely, this composition is obtained, preferably, by including 15-40 wt.% of polypropylene, 15-40 wt.% of polyethylene, 10-30 wt.% of an ethylene-propylene elastomer, 1-10 wt.% of an acid-modified polypropylene and 5-20 wt.% of fiber piles. A molded product obtained by blending the above composition with non-colored resin pellets followed by molding the blend is excellent in weatherability and good in both mechanical and thermal properties.</p> |
