PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an optional display means between a display means of high vision of uniform resolution, and a display means of a normal TV system. SOLUTION: This endoscope system is provided with an electronic endoscope 62 having CCDs 73a, 73b, a simultaneous processor for signal-processing the output signals of these CCDs 73, 73b, a face successive type processor 75b, a terminal for outputting the video outputs of these CCDs 73a, 73b, a displaying position selecting circuit 76 which inputs the video outputs of these CCDs 73a, 73b to synthesize a picture and to generate the video signal of a high vision standard, and terminal for outputting a video signal outputted from the circuit 76 to a high vision monitor. |
