PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device controlling a brake light so as to persuade following traffic satisfactorily. SOLUTION: A control device 20 is connected to a controller 16. The control device 20 gives the action to the controller 16 in such a way that at least one brake lamp (17, 18) can operate under a first predetermined vehicle driving condition and cannot operate under a second predetermined vehicle driving condition, even if a brake light switch 15 is not operated.
