The invention relates to a bituminous composition which comprises a bitumen component and a block copolymer as a modifier said block copolymer containing at least one block of conjugated diene and at least one block of monovnyl aromatic hydrocarbon, the block copolymer in the composition having a vinyl content of at least 25 % weight, and the diblock copolymer content is of maximum 25 % and has an apparent molecular mass ranging from 100, 000 to 170, 000. The composition has improved physical and chemical properties at both low and high temperatures, which are maintained in time conferring a long service life. |
