PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of soft blackplate with superior workability and pressure resistance for the application to 2-piece can is provided. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of soft blackplate includes the steps of (i) soaking an aluminium killed steel comprising C 0.003-0.007wt.%, S 0.012wt.% or less, N 0.001-0.004wt.%, Mn 0.10-0.40wt.%, Al 0.03-0.06wt.%, and other inevitable impurities wherein the weight ratio of Al and N satisfies 15wt.%-40wt.% in the temperature range of 1200 to 1250°C; (ii) hot rolling the soaked aluminium killed steel at the temperature range 900-930deg.C, which is right above Ar3 transformation point; (iii) coiling the hot rolled plate in the temperature range of 620 to 700°C; (iv) cold rolling the hot coil at a reduction ratio of 85 to 90%; and (v) annealing the cold rolled steel sheet in the temperature range of 620 to 680°C.
