PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a bellows for separating an oil circulating part and a fuel circulating part from each other, and form a device in a compact size by supplying oil in an oil chamber from an outside of a high pressure fuel pump, in a fuel pump provided with a plunger which is performed in reciprocating motion by sliding motion of a swash plate. SOLUTION: At a time point when pressure in a pump chamber 14 exceeds a regulated value and less in an intake stroke at the time of an operation of a fuel pump, an intake valve 24 disposed in a plunger 11 is opened, and fuel is sucked into the pump chamber 14. At a time point when pressure in the pump chamber 14 exceed the regulated value, a delivery valve 28 is opened, and fuel is supplied from the pump chamber 14 to a delivery chamber 29. In such constituted fuel pump, a shaft 1 penetrating a shaft seal 35 and a coupling 2 is fitted to a coupling fitting part 33 of an engine cum 6 wherein an oil passage 34 is disposed on a center of an axis, and oil is led from an engine side into a swash plate chamber 38 bypassing a communicating passage 4 of the swash plate chamber 38 disposed on a center of the shaft 1. |
