PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting easily attachable to and detachable from a fluid pressure apparatus without requiring the use of a tool to simplify the working process in the attachment and detachment to the fluid pressure apparatus. SOLUTION: This pipe fitting comprises a socket 5, a stud 11 to be fitted to the socket 5, a joint body 15 fitted and fixed to one end of the stud 11, and a clip 17 for retaining the stud 11 in the socket 5 in the locked state. The socket 5 has a clip housing groove 19 capable of housing paired pieces 17a, 17a of the clip 17. The stud 11 h-as a tapered surface 26 for deforming the paired pieces 17a, 17a of the clip 17 in the extending direction, and a locking groove part 27 for fitting the clip 17 thereto. The clip 17 has a pair of paired pieces 17a, 17a and an operation part for extending the paired pieces 17a, 17a.
