<p>An electrostatic printing device comprising an elastic rubber developer sleeve, and preferably also an elastic foam supply roller, and preferably a metal doctor blade. The elastic rubber developer sleeve holds the toner particles on its surface and carries the toner particles into the developing/printing zone to there apply them on an information carrier through the apertures of an FPC. The elastic rubber developer sleeve is preferably made of an elastic material such as silicone with a top coating of for example flouride elastic resin. The electrostatic printing device is capable of forming a uniform toner layer having a stable toner charge (q/m) on the surface of the developer sleeve for a long term usage, and is capable of forming a toner image which is excellent regarding resolution, gradational characteristics, and thin line reproducibility even when used in changing environmental conditions.</p> |
