PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument which enables strumming play. SOLUTION: This musical instrument is provided with a musical sound generating means 1, a pattern data storing means 2, a strumming rhythm specifying means 3, which specifies the interval of the rhythm used in a strumming playing, a delay timing specifying means 4, which specifies the delay timing during the strumming playing, and a control means 5 which only outputs the musical data of the first sound among the musical data of the keyboard of the depressed keys with the rhythm used in a specified strumming playing, successively delays the rest of the musical data in the order of the specified delay timing and outputs the data to the means 1. |
