measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: marks proportional to sizes of given surface are placed on tested sections on surface of body of complex shape. Flat elements of same form and size are employed in the capacity of marks. Optical recording device, for instance, video camera recognizes image of surface of body of complex shape. Comparing images of mark and reference mark so arranged that coordinates of all points of mark are known one makes decision on coordinates of points of surface of body of complex shape and on orientation of section of surface bearing mark with due account of angle of inclination of section. EFFECT: raised efficiency of determination of coordinates of points and of orientation of sections on surface of body of complex shape by way of simplified analysis of results of measurement of recognized image of this surface. 2 dwg
