摘要 structural seismology. SUBSTANCE: method is specifically related to evaluation of intensity of seismic vibrations with due account of properties of soils making up construction site. Artificial seismic source excites seismic vibrations in soil which are recorded by geophones positioned on sections with different engineering and geological conditions. Velocities of propagation of longitudinal waves and densities in examined and standards soils located at distances less and greater than lengths of waves of seismic vibrations are measured. Increments of magnitude are computed from relation , where ρi1 is density of examined soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations, kg/cu m; Vi1 is velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in examined soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; DELTAVi1 is change of velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in examined soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; ρi2 is density of examined soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; Vi2 is velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in examined soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; DELTAVi2 is change of velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in examined soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; ρo1 is density of standard soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations, kg/cu m; Vo1 is velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in standard soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations. m/s; DELTAVo1 is change of velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in standard soil located at distance less than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; ρo2 is density of standard soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, kg/cu m; Vo2 is velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in standard soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s; DELTAVo2 is change of velocity of propagation of longitudinal wave in standard soil located at distance greater than length of wave of seismic vibrations, m/s. Degree of seismic effect is evaluated by values of increments of magnitude. EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of method thanks to control over contribution of inelastic phenomena to resulting soil motion. 2 tbl
