摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mill for preventing the generation of the begining and terminal which are deviated from the standard size in a product which is continuously hot-rolled. SOLUTION: In 1st and 2nd rolling stands 58, 60 which are arranged continuously along a pass line, the relationship of mutual operating speed is adjusted with a controller 28 and, in the begining and terminal segments of the product passed through between the 1st and 2nd rolling stands 58, 60, the level of tension is increased. By this increase of the tension level, the cross-sectional areas at the begining and terminal segments of the product are reduced. In this way, the lack of deduction of the cross-sectional area caused by that the begining and terminal segments during rolling are not subjected to the interstand tension is sufficiently supplied.</p>
