PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save thermal energy by simplifying a process and prevent impregnation of slurry into a holding material. SOLUTION: A wet coat layer is formed by applying slurry containing porous oxide power on a surface of a support base material, a dry coat layer is formed by drying the wet coat layer, it is held in a casing through a holding material containing an inorganic fiber material can an organic component thereafter, a coat layer is formed by further sintering the dry coat layer and the organic component in the holding material is dissipated. As it is held in the casing in a state of the dry coat layer and thereafter it is sintered, the holding material and the slurry never make contact with each other, and sintering of the dry layer and dissipation of the organic component in the holding material are simultaneously carried out. |
