PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce re-utilizable amorphous carbon from organic waste of processed food or the like. SOLUTION: Provided is a carbonizer consisting of a combustion furnace 1 provided with a plurality of burners 2 and having a smoke discharge cylinder 5 provided with an opening and shutting control plate 16; an inner cylindrical kiln 3 which heat-treats in its inside organic waste fed from a feed port 6 provided on one of its ends and discharges the treated carbide through a discharged port provided on the other end and has a temperature sensor 4 penetrating into the combustion furnace, supported in a rotatable manner, and measuring the inside temperature; a waste smoke blower 8 that blows the high-temperature waste gas passing through a waste smoke cylinder 5 of the furnace into the inside of the inner cylindrical kiln; a gas exhaustion apparatus 12 provided in the vicinity of the feed inlet of the kiln; a treated gas blower 13 that feeds the treated gas from the apparatus 12 into the furnace 1; a rotation drive apparatus 11 which rotates the kiln at a specified speed; and a fuel tank 20 which feeds a fuel into the burners of the furnace and used to produce amorphous carbon from the waste fed into the kiln while the pass time of the waste and the temperature in the kiln are controlled.
