PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leathered steering wheel which can have its grained groove deepened for a leather end in a coating layer. SOLUTION: This leathered steering wheel W arranges a synthetic resin-made coating layer 11 (12.22) in the periphery of a core metal 4 of a ring part R gripped at steering time. The coating layer 12 has a grained groove 14 provided along a sectional peripheral direction of the ring part R. Leather 24 covering the coating layers 12.22 is arranged by fitting the end 24b along a plane peripheral direction of the ring part R to the grained groove 14. In a location arranged the grained groove 14 in the ring part core metal 4, a contracted part 6 contracting a sectional external peripheral surface to a sectional center side from a general part 5 of the ring part core metal 4 is arranged so that the grained groove 14 may be deeply formed. |
