PURPOSE:To obtain the subject colorless transparent resin having excellent mechanical strength such as impact resistance, solvent resistance, adhesiveness of hard-coat film, etc., and high refractive index and Abbe number by polymerizing three specific kinds of raw material monomers. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin is produced by polymerizing raw material monomers containing (A) 40-89wt.% of a diallyl phthalate prepolymer of formula I (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is 1-5C dihydric alcohol residue; (m) is 0-20), (B) 10-59wt.% of a dialkylene glycol bisallylcarbonate prepolymer of formula II (R4 is R1; R3 is 1-10C dihydric alcohol residue; (n) is 1-10) and (C) 1-30wt.% of a vinyl compound of formula III [R5 and R6 are H or group of formula IV and different from each other (Y is H or halogen other than F); X is Y] (preferably dibenzyl fumarate, etc.). The phthalic acid diallyl ester used as a raw material for the prepolymer of formula I is preferably diallyl phthalate, etc., and the dihydric alcohol is preferably ethylene glycol, etc. |
