PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply carry out, with high efficiency, the work for fixing an aluminum cover on a mini-cup type container. SOLUTION: In a sealing method, when a cover 5 is punched from a belt- shaped cover material 15 fed from a material feed section 9 by a cover forming section 10, the cover 5 is held on a positioning tool 11 standing-by in the punching direction. The position of the positioning tool 1 is registered with a container 2 standing-by on another position by a covering operation section 12 to set the cover 5 on a mouth section of the container 2 for covering, and in the above state, the container 2 is fixed with the cover 5 by a fixing operation section 13 using the high frequency sealing. Thus the trouble taken to hold the cover 5 on the positioning tool 11 is eliminated to simply seal the container 2 with high efficiency. |
