PURPOSE: Rear seat structure for preventing luggage from being pushed in a trunk room is provided to obtain the space of the trunk room by using a rear seat, and to protect passengers safely by restricting a seat back from being folded in the front of the vehicle at a collision. CONSTITUTION: A rear seat system for preventing luggage from being moved in a trunk room is composed of an upper panel fixing a trunk lid in the rear part of the vehicle, a rear seat, a seat back door(15), and a ratchet part(16). A reinforcing sill is formed with bending the end of the upper panel downward, and supported in a plate of a rear seat back(13) to prevent the seat back from being turned to the interior of the vehicle. The wall of the rear seat back is turned around a hinge(14) for the rear part of the vehicle, and contacted to the wall of a trunk room. Luggage in the trunk room is prevented from being moved into the seat of the vehicle with fitting the rear seat back plate to the reinforcing sill of the upper panel. Safety is improved with preventing the seat back from being folded forward at a collision.
