Provided in the present invention are two sheets (2a, 2b) that face one another, and a plurality of elastic members (10) that extend along a direction of stretching/contracting of a composite stretching/contracting member (1) so as to be able to stretch and contract in this direction between the sheets (2a, 2b). The sheets (2a, 2b) are bonded to one another at a plurality of bonding sections (4), each of the bonding sections (4) being configured so as to extend continuously along lines intersecting the direction of stretching/contracting and so as to intersect the plurality of elastic members (10).
