<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor by automatic processing and storing, to save space by pallet-less storage, and to reduce by cost using an inexpensive apparatus. SOLUTION: This automatic storing system involves a conveyance apparatus 11 for conveying a product, a storing apparatus 12 storing the product, a positioning apparatus 13 for keeping the product in a prescribed position and attitude, and image pickup device 14 for image-pick-up the positioned product, a product recognizing device 15 for processing the image inputted from the image pickup device 14 and extracting the amount of characteristics of the product, a process control device 16 for determining a part number based on the extracted amount of characteristics and setting a rack number of the storage apparatus for storing the product having the part number, and a product feeding/discharging apparatus 17 for feeding the product into the storing apparatus 12 based on the part number information and the rack number information from the process control apparatus 16.</p> |
