摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for lowering the content of amines produced as by-products in decomposing a polyurethane and contained in a large amount in a regenerated polyol. SOLUTION: By reacting amines produced as by-products in decomposing a polyurethane by glycolysis and contained in a large amount in a regenerated polyol with an epoxy compound, the amines can be efficiently converted into hydroxy compounds that are quite nonproblematic even if they are present in the regenerated polyol. Desirably, the above exchange reaction is performed at a temperature of 50 deg.C to the boiling point of the solvent used. A homogeneous polyurethane having a constant curing rate can be formed by using the above polyol, which permits the industrial recycling of a polyurethane used as a heat- insulating material, or the like.</p>
