<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower body structure of a vehicle including a frame underneath the floor panel of the vehicle body, is composed of main frames extending longitudinally inner sides of both ends of the floor panel in proximity thereto, and extension panels extending vehicle-widthwise outside of the main frame and below the floor panel so as to ensure the stiffness for the floor, which is equal to that of the conventional one, while aiming at allowing lowering of the floor and elimination of side sills to be consistent with each other, and to enlarge the accommodation space while ensuring satisfactory ability of boarding and alighting. SOLUTION: In this lower body structure of a vehicle in which a frame is located underneath the floor panel 1 of the vehicle body, the frame is composed of main frames 2 extending longitudinally along the insides of both end of the floor panel 1 in proximity thereto, and extension panels 14 extending vehicle-widthwise outside of the main frames 2 and below the floor panel.</p> |
