PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine that can adjust the rotation balance of a rotating body while restraining the nonuniformity of a magnetic field in a magnetic bearing.SOLUTION: A rotating machine comprises: a rotating shaft; a thrust magnetic bearing configured to receive a thrust load of the rotating shaft by applying a magnetic force to a thrust collar provided on the rotating shaft; and at least one balance weight attached to the thrust collar.
