PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire preventing occurrence of appearance defect.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 is equipped with a carcass 6 comprising at least one carcass ply 6A leading from a tread 2 to a bead 4 through a sidewall 3. The carcass ply 6A is formed by disposing in a tire circumferential direction, the strip sheet-like ply pieces 11 having the length in a radial direction longer than that in the tire circumferential direction. In each ply piece 11, plural carcass cords 12 are arranged in parallel in a longitudinal direction, and in the adjacent ply pieces 11 in the tire circumferential direction, at least a part overlaps with each other. In each ply piece 11, the thickness Ce of the carcass cord 12 disposed at least one side edge 11e of the ply piece 11 in the circumferential direction is less than the thickness Cc of the carcass cord 12 disposed at the center 11c of the ply piece 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
