PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter of motor for safe stopping of the operation of devices, even if by chance a positive temperature coefficient thermistor is broken. SOLUTION: A pair of separation walls 1b, 1c are provided within a case 1 to partition the space within the case 1 to an element-accommodating space 1a for accommodating a positive temperature coefficient thermistor element 2 and a pair of electrodes accommodating spaces 1d, 1e for respectively accommodating and holding a pair of electrode plates 3, 4 and the respective tongue pieces 3a, 4a of a pair of electrode plates 3, 4 are in contact with the electrodes 3, 4 of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor element 2 passing through the slit portions 1f, 1g formed to a pair of separating walls 1b, 1c. Thereby, the apparatus can stop the operation safely, even if the positive temperature coefficient thermistor element is broken by chance. |
