PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading KANA (Japanese syllabary) display device for changing the setting of KANA display according to the ability to memorize or read and understand of a user. SOLUTION: A reading KANA display device is provided with a target character judging part 24 for extracting characters being the target of KANA display from text data, a KANA display judging/setting part 28 for judging whether or not KANA display should be operated to the characters being the target of KANA display which are extracted by the target character judging part 24 under a condition stored in a learning functioning part 34, and a display part 33 for adding and displaying KANA to the characters being the target of KANA display whose KANA display is judged by the KANA display judging/ setting part 28. The KANA Display judging/setting part 28 judges whether or not the KANA display should be operated under the condition stored in the learning functioning part 34 so that desired KANA display can be attained by a simple operation. |
