<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which insert and operation sections are not formed in a large size and damage of built-in parts in the endoscope and reduction of functions thereof caused by hardness variable means are absolutely prevented. SOLUTION: The endoscope is so constructed that the built-in parts are not arranged in a way that they pass an inner side space formed between a hardness control coil 27 and an internal face of soft tube 14a and run across the hardness control coil 27, even when the hardness control coil 27 moves along the internal face of the soft tube 14a so as to change relative position with built-in parts. That is, other built-in parts passing through a soft tube 14 run inside a wide space for built-in parts pass 60 located outside opposite to the space formed between the hardness control coil 27 and the internal face of soft tube 14a.</p> |
