SUBSTANCE: screw mechanism has housing with guide bushings accommodating rams interconnected by cross- member with fitted-on lead screw whose nut is mounted on housing and is provided with driven bevel gear in meshing with driving bevel gear of drive shaft furnished with driven spur gear and operated by mechanical drive. Screw mechanism has drive shaft with manual drive member furnished with driving gear and manual drive-to- mechanical drive change-over mechanism. Spur driving gear of manual drive member shaft is in meshing with spur driven gear of mechanical drive shaft. Mechanical drive is made in form of nut runner. Above-indicated shafts are provided, respectively, with driving and driven spur gears which are also in constant meshing. Driving spur gears have keyways and they are freely fitted relative to their drive shaft. Driven spur gears are rigidly fitted on drive shaft. Hex head for connecting head of nut runner is secured on end of drive shaft. Manual drive-to-mechanical drive change-over mechanism is made in form of spring-loaded key hinge-mounted on manual drive member (handwheel) and arranged in longitudinal slot of corresponding drive shaft for reciprocating under action of handwheel with alternating getting of key end into keyways of driving spur gears and getting of key end in neutral position corresponding to engagement of screw mechanism with nut runner.
