PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workflow resource selector for matching a work item with a resource by a method for providing a peak value to all the stake holders of a workflow. SOLUTION: Under the state of excessive resources, a selection engine determines a resource usable for the usable work item, determines a business value RSBV for serving the work item to that resource and a value RTV of that resource and selects a resource for providing the peak value. Under the state of excessive work items, the selection engine determines a usable work item, determines a business value WSBV of a resource and a value WTV of that resource and selects a work item having the peak combination value of the business value and a value for the work item. |
