MEASURING DEVICE FOR RECEIVING PERFORMANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a carrier-to-noise ratio CNR in a wide value range as a parameter showing the receiving performance. SOLUTION: A 1st CNR estimation means 110 estimates a 1st CNR via the vector arithmetic and by means of plural orthogonal vectors which are obtained as the detection results of receiving signals. A 2nd CNR estimation means 130 estimates a 2nd CNR by means of the cumulative metric value that is obtained in a Viterbi decoding mode. A CNR selection means 140 selects the higher reliable one of both CNR values to extend a range of measurement of the CNR.
